HOW to TONE YOUR ABS for summer!

Back with the next video of my Body Base training series and in today's video I focus on really toning, tightening and strengthening the abs. Summer is on it's way for the Southern Hemisphere and although I don't advocate beauty by the size of your waist line, it does help the confidence when you are feeling firm and fit for the beach season.

This video is a FULL ab workout that you can do ANYWHERE and it can be added to any training program or sport!

Here are the recommendations for the different fitness levels.

Exercise 1: Crunch and toe taps

Beginners x10 reps

Intermediate x10-12 reps

Advanced x10-15 reps

Exercise 2: Plank with rotations

Beginners x10 reps

Intermediate x10-12 reps

Advanced x10-12 reps

Exercise 3: The "Heidi Klum" (I remember seeing her do this exercise like 15years ago and couldn't remember what they called it, so I called it the Heidi Klum ;) ;)

Beginners x10 reps

Intermediate x15 reps

Advanced x 18-20 reps

After each exercise take a 30-60 sec recover. Repeat all 3 exercise as 1 cycle and this cycle can be done 2-4 times depending on your fitness level. Click on the video below for the full workout!

As most of you know and I am going to remind you, a healthy toned and fit body (particularly the mid section) relies mostly 80% on diet and 20% on training. Therefore, as important as it is to keep a regular training program going, a really good eating program will be the key factor that will bring big changes.

Now I am not someone who enjoys living off of steamed broccoli and letuce leaves! OH NO! I believe in eating a wide variety of AMAZING foods and still achieving the results I want!!
